Please help.

I have been offered a bike which is manfactured by Scott. 21", 21 gears, hardtail (I think) and in pretty good nick. However I am just starting out and therefore not a bike buff. On the frame is says "Bandera", has anyone heard of this model as I cannot find a think on internet. If they have where can a view info. Has it a different name...

Any help appreciated.

    Hello,

    I've not heard of this bike before but thats not to say it wont be any good.
    As long as its in good working order and has parts of a fair standard it should fine to start out on.
    If you have a photo of the bike i can tell you if it would be suitable.
    one other thing to consider, if it has got worn parts and you can't service it your self it may end up costing a fair bit more than you think and if it has 21 gears it is most likly quite old as they come with 24 or 27 now.

    Just having a quick gander through google picked up a trail in Texas, USA. Your mate hasnt been to the states recently and picked up a sticker has he? :D
