Anybody got it?

I managed to get a copy this morning, but getting out on the bike while the weather was good was a bigger draw so I only managed an hour on the game.

I don't really understand the hype though...it's good, but it's not that good.

I've had it sitting here since Tuesday but haven't played it yet. Hopefully I'll get a chance this evening.

I keep on being drawn back to Wii Fit which is pure genius. Can't wait for Family Ski to come out in June.

Sticking to Gears of War for occasional bursts of gaming. I'd rather spend £40 on somat for my bike personally, though i might get it.

Another vote for Wii Fit. Love all the skiing games and I find that a half hour on it before going for a ride is a good warm up.

Had it since launch day and currently at 25% complete.. Gameplay is nothing new, but then why try to fix what wasn't broke. Superb attention to detail and a great game. Online play also takes it into another league ( once they sort the servers out )

Tried mine about 30 times, and even with tech support help from the distributors I've only managed about 10 seconds of gameplay on my Xbox360 before it freezes permanently. Will be taking it back for a refund tomorrow.

Do other games freeze? My 360 was freezing 10 secs or so into games, turned out to be the motherboard in the 360 warping.

    Any red lights?

    This is the skiing game.

Like you, I love the skiing games in Fit, so a fully featured game will be aces. The screen shots look pretty cool!

Nope, everything else is normal. All other games are completely fine with no crashes, and there are no red lights. Customer support got my brother to defrag the hard disk, but that did nothing. They promised an answer within 48 hours, but that has passed unfortunately. Its not good to pay £40 for something and not even be able to get 1 minute of play out of it.....

Just bought an X- box 360 last Thursday - really impressed with the graphics, but then I haven't done any gaming since Playstation 2.

Can't see the point of racing / driving games, they leave me cold - give me a puzzle or shoot-em-up everytime.

I finished Tombraider: Legend this morning; good fun, but depressingly easy. The older games used to take me weeks or months to finish, but 2 1/2 days without hammering it? I think the series has run it's course.

Started Halo 3 this morning. Still trying to get the hang of the controls, but my inital impression's good. I'd imagine that a mulit-player game would be superb and very addictive.

Tomb Raider Anniversary > Legend, and cheap too. COD4 is more popular online than Halo, but I must be getting old or something because there's alot of good players on there, and I can't be bothered with spending hours and hours practicing to get any good at the game.

Been playing alot of GTAIV over the last few days, with the iffy weather, and it's really rather good. Driving takes a bit of getting used to as you can't handbrake round every turn at full throttle like previous games, and you do sometimes feel a bit hassled to do stuff with characters ringing you up all the time (though you can turn that off).

Ordered GTA from amazon on friday, it won't be dispatched until this friday apparently!

Call of Duty 4 is worth having a 360 for on its own!

Alas I have no TV :(

But a guy in my halls has got it and I think it's pretty awesome.

Prefer guitar hero 3 though which is absolutely brilliant!!!!

I don't think the price will go down too much......look at COD4.....even pre-owned, you would be lucky to find it much under £32!

When I took my copy back for a refund today the manager in HMV was saying they'd heard there was a fault on 1/3 of the Xbox360 copies. She said they had already given refunds on 3 other copies this morning.

I have it and can't stop playing it...Which is a problem when there are A-levels soon!

As others have said, there's nothing much new here. However, everything has been tweaked; car handling, character expressions and graphics have all received an overhaul.

Nevertheless, it's still a game about stealing cars and shooting gang members, if this appeals to you then get it, if not, don't get it!
