I think I have bought the ALDI Bikemate version before, don;t know how much they differ, and in all honesty have never used the heart rate strap.

The computer itself though worked fine, no complaints at all, decent bit of kit, and feels well made - the Aldi one at any rate.

    Cheers

I bought one of the Lidl ones last week. So far it's been fine.

Only niggles are that wading though all the various displays can be a bit painful, and that I cannot set the wheel size below 1945mm circumference, but that's probably my fault for riding a Moulton!
I only really bought the computer as a dirtcheap HRM anyways. I have a cateye astrale for the normal stuff which does cadence as well.

    cheers
