Yesterday's ride in our local mountains:
What a lovely ride, brought to us by Simos!0 -
Beverley Westwood, where I grew up riding.
A climb on Dalby Black Route, about an hour or so drive from my Mum's house.
On the way to Swithland Woods from Loughborough, which is where I'm riding whilst I'm at uni."The problem was, I was still using my eyes even though I had them shut"

Supersonic, ever been up on top of the ridge at Wharncliffe when its wet and the power lines start humming and your hairs start to stand up? Scared the brown stuff out of me last time I did it seeing as the line are somewhat closer to eye level than is comfortableBrought to you by:

i can't wait to be at sheffield uni in september! (come on good grades )
my local trails are non-existent... Cannock is 20 miles away and is therefore not 'local'.

Though I'd give yous folks a butchers at my locals....
Looking along the top of the hills.
Looking down the steepest hill to the top
bottom of the same savage hill.
Start of another great hill
and the top
Caradhras.... a beast to clean.. esp in the damp.
some days it all too much, so you have to sit off in the shade at the bottom!Sh....itespeed http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/1729687/

Hey, Dastardly Nick, I'm sure that "climb" on the Dalby black route is actually the descent - looks very much like it to me.....maybe that's why you are so dastardly?Commencal Meta 5.5.1

Ha ha, well the name must've come from somewhere!
No that's definitely a climb. There's a couple of sections that drop down into a valley and climb back out the other side up the same sort of terrain. They look like river beds and I went up there last summer when we had all the rain and it had turned into a stream."The problem was, I was still using my eyes even though I had them shut"
