Probably 1+1/8th inch standard cup. Measure the fork steerer diameter if in doubt.0

i dont have a steerer tube or the frame handy. im buying this frame from ebay and the seeler doesnt know what size headset is needed for the frame0
-
more info needed. what year is it?
link to ebay?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I am not sure whether the really old ones had a 1inch steerer.
Ask the seller to measure the internal diameter of the headtube skirts. If 30mm its an inch steerer. If 34mm its an inch and an eighth.0 -
knowing that Saracen did do frames with 1 1/4 headtubes as well put the cat right in and amongst the pigeons."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Lol, I remember the Xray when it first came out, sure it was 2000 as a budget steel frame under the Xile - had some nasty fork I remember that much! Sure it was quill stemmed too. Hmmm.0

Definitely a later one, 98% sure its a standard headset with 34mm skirts. Only way for sure is to ask him to measure just in case its a bloody zero stack lol/0
