Dry, sunny, tiny frosting of snow, wind dropped away...wish I'd planned to be out longer!
So much nicer than yesterday.
Hope y'all have such a NICE pedal!

Deep and crisp and even in West London. From the top of Gilbert Towers I can normally see out to Heathrow and the Surrey Hills beyond - at the moment I can't even see the 200 metres to the North Circular Road :?0

Entirely Post-irrelevant, but the sentiment "Dear God anyone but Boris..... " has almost driven my London-dwelling daughter to prayer!
Snow, in London, in April? Surely some mistake?d.j.

Several inches of wet snow dumped overnight. Roads were mainly clear if rather wet by 10:00 am when I went out. Sun was shining and the wind not too strong. All in all , a glorious morning indeed. Two wheels good, four wheels bad0

It was snowing when I left the house at 8:30 and continued off and on (mostly on) for the next 3hrs. I can't remember when my feet were last that cold. Still, lovely snowy scenes in the Surrey hills The cake stop at the top of Box hill was very welcome0

Bright and sunny up till about 11 but a bitter cold headwind out for 43 miles. Sitting in the cafe the snow started. Bitter cold, wet 40 miles home, got home with hands so cold I could hardly get my gloves off.
Roll on the spring!

Bit chilly where I was, spent most of the morning wishing I had some toasty cycling shorts. Why is it that on really cold days - as Eddy Nelson observes - the air seems to be funneled directly onto your knackers :?:
What do I ride? Now that's an Enigma!0 -
