New Pedals - Recommendations?

Hey guys.
Almost chosen my new steed, leaning towards this as the spec looks amazing, but i am open to other sugestions; anyway i digress.
The main point of this thread was to get some recommendations for pedals, as i know the ones that come with it won't be up to much. I'm after flats -no straps, clips or cleats(SPD's are just too mutch hassle), of a sensible price (preferably under £40-50).
So if you could spare a few mins to give me your opinion it'd be much apreciated.
Cheers in advance.

I assume you mean flat pedals as in NOT clip in?
If so, wellgo MG1-S, £30
They're really light, strong and damn right class. Super grippy too.0 -

Yep, Wellgo MG1. One of the lightest flats available, and cheap too.0

MG1's it is then! I warn you though, the paint does come off pretty easy... I've had mine about a month and they already look terrible. But the bike is a machine and with the way I ride, it won't stay spotless/unbroken for long!

I used to use these ones by Specialized (but in gold) http://www.leisurewheels.co.uk/products ... b0s87p1724 I've had them on my Enduro for the best part of a year now with no probelms what so ever!
I've been converted to SPD's now tho. For the easier trails anyway. Anything real steep and knarly and the mag's will be coming back out again!2007 Merlin Malt 40 -
What about V8's? Had a mate recommend them to me.What We Achieve In Life, Echoes In Eternity0

Yeah I was tempted by some of them... But tbh nearly everyone who has used MG1's really rates them. And for the extra money your certainly getting a good product.
Plus if you really dont like them, send them back....0 -
MG1s all the way!! Light, smooth and mega grippy!0

V12s. V12 Mags if you can spare the extra cash!Rule 64:
Cornering confidence generally increases with time and experience. This pattern continues until it falls sharply and suddenly.

Cheers dor all the advice folks. Plumped for the v8's in the end, just because they were cheap and i was strapped for cash. Also ordered my new steed, so that should be here any day soon.
Cheers again. What We Achieve In Life, Echoes In Eternity0 -
