GT Avalanche 1.0 2007 or Cube Analog 2007

Hi hope this is not wrong place for post looking for some advice getting back into biking seen these two at chain reaction bang at top of my budget any advice welcome

    The GT has the better spec, and is an award winning bike.
  • Thanks for advice ,I agree the GT looks the better buy i think I was being sucked by the price reduction on the cube ,I guess its time for the credit card so I can get rolling (also realise probably should have posted in beginners section sorry!!)

    The V brake Avalache 1 on CRC is very good value at £330.

  • Went for the Gt been out a couple of times very happy with it, the lock out on the fork is great as its very hilly where I live and the lockout stops the bounce on the hills just need to find something for the sore legs

    Lucky you ! A bike you love for a good price AND you live somewhere hilly!! the perfect combination. Let us know how you get on with the bike, and what you buy next for it, you do know thats whats going to happen don't you, upgrade after upgrade !!

    edit - I also owned a GT Avalanche, a 2006 version and I loved it - Is yours the disc version?
