MTB Marathon in Southwest?

Hope you can help....

I'm looking for Marathon type XC events in the Somerset / West Dorset / Devon area. I'm new to the competitive scene, so wanted to start off in a (less competitive) Marathon type event, where the focus is to finish; I want to complete some good distances and move to competitiive races in the future.
