After weeks of trying to decide what to get and plenty of overtime, I finally picked up my new bike yesterday! Well pleased with it, just a shame it won't stay new for long!!

  • Seeing that bike in the mags,I didn't like the colour and wrote it off my list.
But seeing it here,it looks totally different and rather peachy and I must admit I'm a little jealous 8)

I thought about posting pics of my new Commencal, but it's already muddified

The reflectors and bell have now been removed :)
Just need to trim the seatpost a little and stick some patches on to stop the cable rub

  • You need to change the grips
Otherwise large portions of your leg might go AWOL in the event of an offage.

I need to do it myself too.

I find it amazing how different it looks for real compared to the pictures in the mags...I think 'sweet' sums it up 8)

I'm heading to the LBS in a bit after work to get some frame patches, hopefully be able to pick up some new grips at the same time.

Yeah I was suprised how much darker it looked the first time I saw it in the flesh

If you want to protect the frame, don't bother with patches, just buy a length of tape, that way you can do the downtube and fork lowers as well.
