My mate is after a new bike and is asking me what I think is best out of these two:

http://www.paulscycles.co.uk/products.p ... m1b7s1p553
He's got £800 to spend, will be riding moors and woods, will be riding with people on things like Stumpies, Fuels etc. Prefers FS but is open to other suggestions.
Anyone got any reviews on either of these? Or any other suggestions?

The BeOnes are a bit of an unknown quantity, though I did by a BeOne hardtail last year. Some good bargains to be had at 800 quid, though trying them out may be problematic. I would add the Giant Trance to the that list.0

I bought the king kikapu from Pauls a few weeks ago. I like the bike and was really impressed with their setup and delivery of the bike. Very efficiemt.
Let me know if you have any specific questions, I don't know anything about the other bike.

Wasn't it the Nirvana 2.0 that got 4/10 a few months back in either MBR or WMB?
I seem to remember something about a steep head angle making the handling nightmarishly twitchy.0 -
Also look at the Boardan Team and Melrin Malt 4 for well specced hardtails."Melancholy is incompatible with bicycling." ~James E. Starrs0

Personally, I think the BeOne bikes look like they were designed by a 6 year old.
Get the Kikapu0
