Am I correct in thinking that I can get converters for my Hope Pro II front hub (2007)

I currently have 20mm but want to go to QR as I am thinking of swapping my pikes out for Revs.....

Fingers crossed

Will be selling them - virtually brand new - only done about 50 miles - spotless!

    £200.00

It's only an 'IF' at the moment - why? Are you interested?

I can always give you first refusal??

It'll depend on what job i have new term, but yes, as i'm now almost certainly building up a street/jump bike...

Why are you getting rid of the pikes? I'm considering getting a bike with a set of them on it.

No particular reason, but I am a tad on the heavy side and can't be arsed to swap/change springs. And I am going for Air revs..... more adjustability for fat buggers.. ha ha

Plus I don't need a 20mm fork anymore as its overkill for the mid trail riding I shall be doing on the bike

Pike coils are ace forks though!!

Ride-Whenever: No rush, I won't know for certain until about a fortnight's time whats going on so no rush - Ill let you know nearer the time whether I am changing them

Ciaran, if you're worried, i have the 454 air u-turn ones, and they are mint, light and ridiculously stiff

IIRC, the Revs have the same CTA as the Pikes but 10mm less travel. They are lighter of course, but you could probably source a dual air, or air UT conversion for your Pike for less than the cost of the new fork - selling price of your Pike and save the weight that way.
Whether you want a UT version or not will dictate the cost obviously. But it's do-able quite easily.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

Mmm and there will be a 20mm reba next year.

A Qr hope hub with Qr axle weighs more than a 20mm hope hub with maxel. As above get the pike air u-turned. lightest stiffest option.

Is this something TF Tuned could do? I didn't know it could even be done?

you could even ask for the new light-maxle, shave off even more weight.

    Right.....

Just been on the phone to TF tuned .....

    Am having them

    Push Tuned

    Firm Spring Fitted

And PopLoc removed (manual fork lockout etc)

So, will be keeping the Pikes after all

The guy couldn't believe that I am 14 stone and have been able to ride the 'standard' spring, although when lockout is disabled I get about 60% sag....

As comments above, he said the weight isn't much between the PIKE coil and AIR and given that I am a fat bugger (not his words) and this isn't a race bike, changing forks would be pointless...

    How much that cost?

I'm 14stone and it looks like any coil forks I buy will need a coil replacement :/
