whyte or pace

trying to decide on a new hardtail

what would you recomend in the new whyte 905 and the new pace rc 305..

i really cant decide so help sway me :P

    I was looking at both these bikes. I read some bad things about the Pace frames breaking so I ruled it out. The Whyte is currently on the top of my list and if it came with a better fork I'd have bought it by now but as it is, I'm still trying to decide if it's worth the money.

    Also, the Pace is frame only and the Whyte is full build only, so that may influence your decision.

    the Pace frame failures seem to be from the use of too long seat posts. as mentioned in delcol's earlier post on the subject.

    Still seems a bit suspect to me. Other frames don't seem to have this problem and it implies to me that the frame is not as strong as it could be.

    This is another review complaining about frame strength but nothing to do with the seat post:
