Miserable git

I went out for a 2 hour spin, around lunchtime today.
After 20 odd miles, to my suprise there was another roadie coming towards me, on the long straight road, over a river.
Obviously Weds lunchtime in Feb I hadn't expected nor had I, seen anyone else about.
So as we approached I gave the fella the full works, nod of head and right fingers off hoods.
By way of reply, nothing, it's as if I wasn't there.
Unfortunately with nothing much else to think about, I was left stewing, somewhat irrationally, over this until I realised it was time to give it up, as it was beginning to ruin my ride.
Thankfully the 2 guys I saw towards the end, of my ride, restored my faith. They were, like me, obviously very happy to be out, I think 1 might even have saluted me!.
