warped rotor?

Today I noticed that when I pulled on the break lever, the pads seemed to be bending the rotor, from one pad to the other. Does this mean my rotor is warped? When ever I put my left foot down on the pedal and the right is up its making a scraping noise. What should I do? Should I take it to the shop?
Thanks

nope you need to align your caliper correctly.

Unless it is a single sided piston design which do bend the rotors a small amount.

    what brakes?

  • They're cable Shimano 415 brakes. I've got no idea about doing stuff to brakes. Stupid manual tells me about rim brakes, not disc brakes.

  • Found out what was wrong with it. The rotor is scraping against part of the brake from the outside. Looks like I need to straighten something.
    thanks again
