I am sure this is possible, what parts would be needed in addition to the sprocket, info appreciated,

If you are running ten speed you could go down the easy route and get an Ambrosia cassette, Shimano fitting with Campag spacing. Surosa Cycles have them on their website.
  • Good idea, what is the other way? can't you replace the spline?
  • it depends on the make of hub as the whether you can replace the freehub section.

It could be cheaper just to buy another wheel
Recipe: shave legs sparingly, rub in embrocation and drizzle with freshly squeezed baby oil.
  • it is a Mavic Ksyrium Equipe wheel
  • i think sometimes the wheel needs redished too when doing this. certainly when I asked about my shimano hed jet's they can swap the freehub... but then the wheel needs redished.

Fairly certain you can just swap the freehubs over for a Campag spec one. Easy job to do. New free hub is a tad pricey (you might find a cheap one on ebay), but sell your old Shimano one on eBay to recoup some of your outlay.

    this site might be helpful
    cassette info
  • The wheels are Mavic Krysium, so a new free wheel hub can be fitted for about £50, plus a Campagnolo Centaur set for about £400

Reason, I run campagnolo record on my summer bike never misses a beat no adjusting required, simply brilliant

Winter Bike, Ultegra-adustments required every other month, bike off the road at the moment due to a 11 month old STI leaver failing, it's sitting in the warranty dept! we all know it's going in the bin, as they can't be re-built or fixed-campagnolo can,

    I am done with Shimano

there was a Mavic/ Shimano freehub on ebay last week sold for £7.50 they are easy enough to fit.
or swap your freehub with someone else?
