cycling death of local hero

Just thought I'd post on here about the death of a local man (Bedford), Louis Fussell who was regularly in the local papers due to his fund raising efforts using his bike. Unfortunately he was killed last week in a road collision while riding his bike.

He used to regularly ride to Scotland for charity, and did LEJOG for his 80th birthday on his 7 speed Pashley a couple of years ago.

Yeah saw that in the local freesheet Hammerite.....................sad news. He looked like he had a tale or 2 in him!

He certainly did, I didn't know the guy but I love reading about local characters like this and had read his stories in previous years, so it's very sad news when something like this happens.
