i-drive 5 creaking ... help!

hi there,
i have the above bike. Bought from halfords a few weeks ago. I have done aound 80 miles - on road so far, but the bike has started to make this creaking noise, when I am pedaling (stood up or putting a lot of power in pedaling). The creaking stops when I am sat down and pedaling. I;ve put some grease on the pedals but it has made no difference. I have checked the chainset for looseness, but everything seems nice and tight, its almost like its the frame.... but where??.
Does anybody have any suggestions, I'm due to take it back to halfords in a few weeks time for the 6week check, (but am nervous that they will tell me - sorry but that is what the bike is suposed to sound like after a few weeks and we won't touch it!) surley it shouldn't be making this noise.
Any help would be appreciated, especially from any other i-drive 5 owners (as I guess this problem probaly is not a one off)

Just let the shop sort it, could be one of many things in the drivertrain. Certainly not uncoomon!0
