I see the goverment has promised £110 million to improve cycling withing England, which is great for you guys south of the border but surely as Scotland has been named the obese country in the world some of that money could have been spent better in Scotland? thus hopefully easying the pressure and costs on the nhs?

sorry thats my daily rant done!!

  • You lot of Jocks get enough of our cash as it is. Your assembly or whatever it's called has tax-raising powers, ask them to raise say 1p in the pound and see how long they lst in power.
Remember that you are an Englishman and thus have won first prize in the lottery of life.

What is the money actually being spent on - a lot of it is wasted on admin/management etc. Take what is paid to people delivering bikeability - usually peanuts - and as a result the turnover of staff is high and the quality of training is inevitably going to suffer.

it's a hard life if you don't weaken.
