I was thinking about going to Dumere (Bodmin) on Sunday afternoon - even if it is raining!

I could possibly be pursuaded to got to Bissoe - gotta start at Smokey Joe's in Blackwater though.

If we do sort out a club, can I suggest we meet in different places so we can try out different areas.

FSR - couild be a plan.
Know the Bissoe/Poldice area pretty well. Our local woods (Idless) are also good for a smallish blast.

Rain holds no fear for us and now wife has her new bike (see sig - picked up yesterday) we should be out more often.

Riko - where in Truro? We are in Malpas Village.

  • Hi, I would be interested in tagging along, unfortunately I ride with the wheelers on a Sunday morning. If you ever go on a Saturday do let me know. I was out on the Bissoe trail this weekend just been with a friend, and we got a little wet you could say. Good fun mind, shame I picked up a cold.
  • I'm up for a bit of XC action. Can't make this weekend, but interested in future rides. THursdays during the day are good for me. Anybody up for riding then. I'm based in Truro
  • Be up for it ! Not pariculary experienced rider, but happy to giv it a go !

Not necessarily. Not sure what we're up to but the surf is looking poor yet again so could well be a big mission - new Rockhopper has not had more than it's usual daily ten milers so far.

For anyone that knows Bissoe, we rode through the stream last time out. It was a little deep - like chain submerged deep!
Note: Waterproof socks only work if the water doesn't pour in from the top!

Anyway - who fancies Dunmere on Sunday?
