Marin Attack Trail and Whyte 46

Have noticed certain similarities between the Whyte 46 and Marin Attack Trail

c.2006/07

In fact in many ways they look identical!

How did this happen? Any kind of patent infringement case go on?

They look like they share the same quad-link also

    I think Marin do use the same suspension design as Whyte.

    They're certainly distributed by the same firm, ATB Sales, in the UK - but I'm unsure how closely they are linked beyond that.

    Jon Whyte designed the Marin frames, hence the similarity.

    Whyte are supposed to be stopping making bikes, so I heard.

    Interesting..... they are very alike...

    Hope Whyte do continue with their bikes - they are lovely!
