Tapping Noise

When I am standing up pedalling i can hear a tapping noise when the pedals are vertical.

My bike is a Spesh Hardrock Sport (07) with hydro disc brakes - all parts are standard as the bike was sold. I mainly ride trails, small jumps, shore at chicksands and have had the bike since september 07.

Am fairly new to mtb so not too clued up on mechanical side of things. Any ideas what the cause (and solution) could be?
