brake cables

hi can i use a rear magura julie brake cable on a front hayes hfx9 carbon brake my reason for doing this would be so i can run the cable though my stem so it will be easer to do bar spins

tif this works it will be fitted by a shop so the conecting ends can be changed

    why just use the existing HOSE and fit new ends.

    just take it to the shope and get a hollow star nut fitted and get then to route the hose.

    that is what i was going to do i wanted to know if it would work and if it did get a shop to change the ends so then i will have a longer cable
