Cable wear

I have a new bike with a white frame and forks, I have noticed after a few rides black marks appearing on the top of the forks as the brake hoses and gear cables rub against them as I turn, in time I am afraid the paint will wear away from the affected areas. Anyone know of any products or ideas to stop this or reduce the effects?
Thanks Matt.
Thanks Matt.

You can buy bespoke patches from people like lizard skin - clear for understated look, carbon or leather if that's your thing!"Internet Forums - an amazing world where outright falsehoods become cyber-facts with a few witty key taps and a carefully placed emoticon."0

Helicopter tape does what it says on the packet but is so overpriced (cost me a fortune to do the rotor blades on my helicopter)

Most LBS sell the patch kits like these:

Or get to B&Q they have:

Does a better job than helicopter tape as it’s easier to work with, you get 10m x 50mm, last for ever and harder to see on the frame. ( and it cost so little if you mess up rip it off put it in the bin and try another strip) . You might want to put a strip along the underside of your down tube to.0
