Front Deralleur

Hi all,
Been out on my bike today (Giant scr 3) and couldnt get into the 52 chainring, ive had no problems all week with it, the deralleur looks like its moving over far enough and ive rode about 1100 miles on the chain thats on, does anyone know whats causing this?

The cable has probably gone a bit slack. While the chain is on the small ring adjust the barrel on the downtube or unclamp at the mech and pull it through till the slackness has gone.0
