Hi, Im looking to ditch my drop off triples in favour of some long travel single crown forks, but they are all really expensive new, is there anywhere (apart from ebay. ive looked :) ) that sells ex-stock ones for cheaper? like last years models or something?
Also is it a straight swap from triple clamps to single crowns? I'll probably get a shop to do it, but is there any complications to the job?
And finally, what forks do people recommend? ive been looking at 66's, but i know there are lots more on the market.

Oh yeah, better mention my bike is a Norco Shore 3, with 170mm fork on it now!
any help really appreciated!
