Top 10 Superheroes.

Thought I'd try this here and see what gives. We've been talking all morning at work about heroes from films and TV.
I reckon that Jason Bourne is by far the strongest/toughest/meanest of these.
This is purely from the skills he displayed in the film series.
Someone suggested that he might lose in a fight against one of the Jedis, which I thought could be possible but I think Bourne would have the upper hand, despite all their mind games and trickery!

(They have to be human ie you can't choose The predator as I tried to!)

League Table.
GT Destroyer
1 - Jason Bourne - The character of Bourne in the films is a very quick-thinking, linear type of person that moves quickly and brutally towards his goal. He is highly adept at hand-to-hand combat. He also shows an immediate ability to utilize lateral thinking to solve problems. He sometimes uses improvised weapons. He is also proficient with firearms, explosives, electronics and evasive protocols — for moving, driving, and the like.

2 - Sigourney Weaver - She is just a human, pretty much the same as Bourne, thats why she is in second. Plus the fact that she more or less single-handedly killed the most dangerous animal we have ever seen on the screens.

3 - Neo - Now this guy is in third because of his abilities in The Matrix not really in the Real World You can't really knock what he can do, plus he is still a human.

4 - John Mclean - Mr john mclean. would kick all there arses no contest.
how many people you know kill a helicopter with a car (or would even think to do that)
or has got a better catchphrase "yippie kayey mother F*!ker"

5 - Jack bauer - Survived through 7 series of 24. I can't remember everything this guy has endured. If you've seen the show you'll know. He gets tortured to near-death, I think at one point he actually does die! Fights off terrorists, criminals, flies choppers and planes, a deserved 5th spot.

5 -Peter Petrelli - Heroes. Ability to absorb all super powers he comes into contact with. I am told that this guy can go invisible, stop time, go back in time, look at a picture of someone and know where they are in the world etc.. and he is a human, BUT he places 4th as the skills he has can't really be attained by a normal human being

6 - Arnold Schwarzenegger - What about Arnie he survives a thermo nuclear blast in Predator by hiding behind a log covered in mud saves an entire planet in Total Recall and a school in Kindergarten Cop.

7 - Rambo - Rock hard bloke. Taken down countless groups of men, can fight with his hands as well as with weapons.

8 - Bruce Lee AND Jet Li - Awesome martial arts fighters. Not too sure how they'd handle one of the Aliens, and their skills are pretty limited, but they are very good at what they do. Perhaps Jet Li does have an edge over Bruce but they go in as a joint entry.

9 - Segal - Got to feature him really, very skillful with weapons, clever and able to outwit men without much effort.
And finally - These are mainly my own views, the places can always be changed as we discuss powers etc....
Please remember - I'm just trying to get things going a bit in here, thats all!

On the Neo vs Bourne thing. I'd give this as a tie*
If you put Neo and Bourne on the Nebuchnadnezzar together its the end for Neo without a shadow of a doubt, but..
In the Matrix Neo would crush Bourne like a cheesy quaver.

This is a good one - She is human through and through, and has managed to defeat the Aliens, which is quite a feat! But she is a girl, so she loses points for that! hehe!!

Another good one, but he is too far away from being a human, blades come out of his hands! Which is a great weapon, but not human

Bruce would give him a run for his money, but Bourne's skills are more diverse, its not only kung-fu he knows!
I'll put Harold Shipman in the league - I'll have to look up that Carlos bloke, I've never heard of him!

I have put the first list in the first post. It can be changed or people promoted or demoted as we see fit. I have just put 9 in there for now, if you think your superhero choice should be in the top 9 post in here and they might get in!0

Not sure how these two would rate in a fist fight but Peter Petrelli and Syler from Heroes have got to figure in the list somewhere. What ever any other SuperHuman can do ability wise these two dudes just absorb it... well one absorbs it and the other kills for it. Ability to fly, disappear, stop time, regenerate, tele-kinesis etc MUST rate these two highly. My moneys on these 0

Another lad at work suggested one of them from Heroes, where do you think they should go on the list? Bear in mind they aren't really human.
I'll copy in your reason for them being there too.
I haven't seen any of the heroes episodes so I can't give any reasons why they'd be there myself!

They are human its just that a strand of their DNA is 'different' which allows them to do stuff the rest cant!! Bit of a geek about Heroes.

Which one of the Heroes do you want to place in there. I'm thinking he'll go in at number 4 and bump everyone else down, that means we'll have 10 in the list. We'll leave it at 10 and just demote people as we add more in.
