Camelbak raincover

I have ordered a Camelbak rain cover to use not with a Camelbak but with a Berghaus 20 litre backpack. I can't find a rain cover small enough to fit but the £8 Camelbak LOOKS as though it will do the trick. However I can find no reviews and website pictures don't allow me to check the fixings. Does anyone have one? Will the velcro and drawstring trims fit any similar sized and shaped ruck-sack? Help ... before my local shop phones to say it's in. Winter in Scotland doesn't mean snow, white hills and kids bobsleighing. It just pours of rain and my stuff gets soaked.
