As a cyclist myself i always try to be considerate to other cyclists when i am in my car. The other night i was driving into my local town and giving plenty of space to a sensible cyclist ahead who had lights and a reflective vest all of a sudden he swerved right in front of me and i thought wtf is he doing, he then went right at a mini roundabout and it was only as he exited it that i saw he had his arm out indicating that he was turning right. His dark arms had been completely undetectable in the dark even against all the other lights  . Next time i am riding in the dark i will make sure that my reflective arm bands are on my wrists , not my upper arm where i usually put them.

See, they return, and bring us with them.

    good point

I'm like a christmas tree with 4 flashing lights at the back but you're right about arms not being lit
You just have to ride like you never have to breathe again.
