Carbon & touching up laquer

Hi,

I have a small patch of lacquer that has chipped off of my forks and wondered what type to touch it back in with?

Would my G/F's clear nail varnish work or would the acetone base do something horrible to the carbon?

    I'd be really careful if I were you. Is there no advice on the manufacturer's website?

    Fraid not, they are standard Marin fit forks to one of their bikes. :?
