Has anyone got an opinion on one of these. Good or bad. Doesn't matter.

The rockhopper will be best spec but the Iron horse will be smoother and therefore more enjoyable. Then again if you go for the hardtail a few years down the line you will be smoother and therefore it will be doubly smooth.

Good point, so basiclly..... dont be a lazy forker and get the hardtail!

Besides I do love my Speshi......

I just cant let my other bikes here that.

It depends on how long you have been riding a hardtail. If for a few years on pretty tech stuff then I'd say then a full sus might be a worthy upgrade.
If for example, the current rockhopper leaves you thinking about the brilliance of the trail and how you rode it and were not thinking "Ow i could do with some give on the rear" then go for the spesh.

By the way I love my specialized too good bikes aren't they? Even though I have spent £300 on repairs alone in the last 2 months and now need a new £50 derailleur and seat clamp bolts after a ride at the Ultra-fun Okehampton.

Very happy with my Speshi, I orginally had the hard Rock and have just slowly upgraded through the range. Next year I plan to move onto the Stumpy. I might just buy the frame and transfer everything.

Repairs......ouch, hate spending money unless its an upgrade. Every time I gotta repair something I try and replace it with something better, stronger or lighter. That way it doesnt feel so bad. But none the less repairs hurt.
