Does anyone know what is happening with this circuit?
I can find info saying that planning permission was granted in Feb 200, that building was meant to start in summer 2007 with it complete for Autumn 2007.....!
Is it complete, did building even start?

There is now talk of 1 April 2008 for an opening date.
A joke?The ODA has now made a new application to build the Olympic Village and legacy residential developments on part of the former Metropolitan Open Land that was Eastway.
This is the heart of the problem – the developers long-term focus is not the Olympics as such but the vast profits that will be made from lucrative property development on the site once the games are over. I can imagine the entire velopark concept being gradually edged out of the project altogether, replaced by some kind of small scale green park space for residents of apartments.0
