Hi, i've got myself a pair of 2004 dirt jumper 3's and was wondering a few small things about them.

Firstly, what size are the lower nuts on the fork lowers....remocing these would let me service the forks

Secondly, no matter what socket size i try, none of them fit....what do i have to do...?

Thirdly...i have heard vaguely of people running these forks with just one spring to gain a better feel and lose weight. weight is not an issue but a better feel would be great.
Which side spring should i be removing?

Thanks

12mm but you need to modify the socket or buy a foot nut tool.

yes one spring and more air in the other leg.

one side has a small plastic part in, the other doesn't, but from what i can find out, the damping system is the same in each side anyway

    thanks

not the same try reading a manual. if you dont have it download it from Marz's webby.

damping is on one side only.

if it is a DJ2 then they should be both internal. ie there should just be a nut on the bottom of each leg. nothing else.
