Bike route toaster

I have an edge 205 and when trying to create a track using the bikeroutetoaster website all is fine. However when i try to export the file to either motionbased or training centre to then send to my edge i always have errors and problems and dont know why. Can anyone help, am i doing anything wrong?
Normally,
I create the course, fine
I download to computer, fine
Open up either of the softwares, fine
Try to upload into one of the software, error, does not recognize file type.aargh
