My Size, The bike size.

Is it a problem if im on my saddle and i foot cant touch the ground? Im 5ft7in and im worried that this bike can be a danger for me when i go down hill.

    yes it does sound too big.

    but you are not really giving much info.is the saddle correctly positioned? do you have correct stand over clearance?

    what is the sixe of the frame? and make?

    Your foot shouldn't be able to touch the ground with your arse on the saddle without leaning the bike over to one side.

    You need to be able to stand over the bike with your feet on the floor without chopping your nuts off on the top tube.

    Thats not always true: bottom bracket height plays a part. Saddle hight should be set in relation to the pedals at the lowest part of the stroke.

    The way i was told to do it was.........Sit on your saddle, put your heel on one of the pedals and rotate the crank so the pedal is at it's lowest point, your leg should be straight at this point.
