Bike storage

I am thinking storing my bike on a hook, it would mean that my bike would be stored vertically. If the bike spends an extended time in this state will it cause any permanent damage?

    Nope, but you may have to cycle your forks a few times.

    read your fork manual (if you have a sus fork).
