Staying overnight near Cannock Chase

Planning on visting next weekend and struggling to find cheap non-tent based accomodation. Anybody got some pointers for a hostel or B&B close by? Thanks.

just thinking off top of my head, there's the Uxbridge Arms in Hednesford Town Centre, about 30 seconds bike ride from Cannock Chase

plain lazy

there is also a travelodge on rugeley that only about 3 miles from the chase

Thanks for the replies. As well as the Uxbridge Arms i also found the Cross Keys in Hednesford. Does anyone have first hand experience of either and can recommend one?

Cross keys is not that close to good biking area, there's not that much around, but will keep looking for you
