flat bar brake levers with pompino canti brakes?

thinking of shedding the midge bars from my pompino and fitting some mtb riser bars...
will i need any specific sort of brake levers to work with the one-one canti brakes or will standard mtb levers do the job??

Those are for V-brakes, dude - you need something with less pull I believe. Something like this:
