Craaaaaazy last 20km on tiny little roads and road furniture everywhere. There were riders on pavements, grass verges, bike paths, opposite sides of central reservations. Mental. One of the Saunier Duval guys flattened some old biddy standing on the side of the road.
Anyway, that's 8 for Cavendish. Says he's targetting Paris-Tours.

Great win for Cav he really is a class act be interresting to see if he gets the 11 he wants and even better if Paris Tours is one of them , though saying to the Belgian interviewer that when he gets third wheel with two hundred to go he cant be beaten was a bit foolish.As for the street furniture how crazy was that ? They went under a bridge with about 5 ks to go and a woman was out with shopping trolley she alkmost got taken out by about 20 Pro Tour riders going at 40mph. She just carried on as it was an everyday occurence lol
