Hope you don't mind me asking but is this a regular Thursday event as I have every other Thursday off and would be interested at having a bash at FTD.
I am a beginner and not a young 'un either.

  • Yeah, i`ve got all Thursday off. Have contacted Pete - he`s gonna let me know Weds night what time suits him after work Thursday, probably about 12:30.
If he can`t make it, then 10:30am suits me mate...I`ll confirm a time tomorrow evening.
Mikeitup : as Alan says, your welcome to join us mate.

Is there a set route for bikes on the chase, or do you go on any part you like? I used to go for walks around the chase by Slitting Mill, but never saw any bikers at all!
It's a bit creepy there in the dark, isn't it?

Lickey is quite small and there are no marked trails, however, what there is, is quite fun, some real good drops.

I've started to ride over to Lickey from Redditch by following the canal tow path from Redditch to Alvechurch then hoping across to the bottom of the Lickey Hills.
