Not totally sure but think its somewhere over 5 years since i last rode Dalby red route. Found it really hard then but it was wet and slippery.

Has it changed much?

How challenging do you lot out there find it?

Going to go and ride it mid-week so I don't make a total arse of myself if still a bit hard.

Come to think of it we might have deviated on to the black (?) route last time - I was just following other people.

All I can say is go and find out. Im going on sunday, if you can make it there for 9am, you are more than welcome to come round with us  Steady round the red route is around 2.5hrs. Theres a nice little jump park up top too for collapsing or having a little fun on the jumps..

Dalby has all new red trails this year, it's longer than it used to be (~23 miles), but it is still well signposted (& you can buy maps from the bike hire shop & visitor's centre)

It's even more fun than it used to be & the trails hold up much better in the wet than they used to.

Toll is now £7 but well worth every penny as it all goes back into the trails & visitors centre!

SingletrAction are the trail builders & I think there could be a map on their website.

I did Dalby for the very first time last saturday and the ride was amazing, there was a little diversion on the red route due to work being carried out. I found the ride straight forward but my bike was playing up and near the end everyone was saying that they had back ache. The ride was fantastic, it was very dry and at times a fast pace. We all took it steady and had a play at the jump park, i think this was 7 miles into the route.

    Have a good one.

We have a webpage that we have put together with a write up on Dalby...please take a look if you have time...

    Have a good ride

Thanks everyone - going either this week or next.

The mudpackers site is excellent for anyone who hasn't seen it. Big respect to them for riding CTC. Was reading about it in MBR - sounds like a true epic. 8)
