today me and mrs dangerous deceided we must part ways and although very sad it had to happen, we were not married but have been together for three years and have a dog together(did i hear a titter in the back). this is certainly not the first time breaking up with a girl so the pain is not so bad(no doubt knowing my luck won't be the last) just curious of what i should do now to take my mind off my life of termoil and despair? all suggestions welcome and if any single young pretty lady forumers fancy giving me some tlc...
would like to keep barney the dog but he's started looking at me funny i think dangerous dangerous has brain washed him!

    That's not fun.

Ale and whores would be a possible recommendation, or more seriously just a bit of time to yourself. Go do something you felt you couldn't before... let off a little steam, climb a mountain, see a new country, write that book, whatever it is you want to do but real life holds you back.

    Enjoy yourself!

It's not often you get to do exactly what you want in your own gaff/life without being looked at in a disapproving manner is it now?

Just think, no more asking if you can go for a ride...just get up and go.

Enjoy this freedom....it won't last forever.

Hope it works out for you!

Look on the brightside, you can do what you want now....eat beans out of the tin, sit around in your pants all day......oh....ok....

Seriously though, when I became a singleton nearly a year ago I was certainly grateful of the fact I could go out on my bike anytime I wanted and being alone on the road is certainly great for getting over lifes problems.

I'd like some sympathy as well since I fell off my bike on Sunday, a ruddy tree root had lifted the tarmac surface on the cycle path that parallels the Weston Point Expressway in Widnes. Damn thing kicked the front wheel out, I landed like a bag of spanners and left a sizeable portion of my elbow, knee and shin flesh smeared over the busted up surface of said cycleway. The remaining 15 miles home were not jolly I can tell you (why do wasps like open wounds??). Got up this morning to find I have a really stiff neck, even though I don't remember banging my bonce when I fell.

As for Mrs Dangerous failing to recognise what a stunning catch you are, don't worry... there are plenty of other lasses out there panting for a bloke like you to come along

What do I ride? Now that's an Enigma!

when my wife. of 27 years, and I split up, I did what any cyclist should do .I went out and bought a new bike!! and didn't have to explain to anyone.
It seemed strange at first. I kept waiting for the "where did that come from?????!"

and then I went off on a 5 month tour, brilliant, clears the head.

Wounds heal (emotional and physical), but a chip on your carbon forks is a REAL downer

I know that I have not been back to Widnes for such a long time - 8 months - but I did not know that the Weston Point Expressway has been moved from Runcorn to Widnes.

Nobody likes a smart-arse! Seems as though the fall has scrambled my geography as well then

Wherever the ruddy expressway is, it still funkin' hurts when you fall on it
