Hi,

I'm going to head over to Epping Forest tomorrow, i know its fairly massive so not really sure where i should be looking to park up and ride from?

Does anyone here ride there who can point me in the right direction please?

Many thanks

Drew.

I don't know that much of the forest but one place that's good is Pole Hill, it has a couple of short quite easy dh runs and some nice singletrack.
It's quite easy to get to, if you know where the queen elizabeth hunting lodge is, just go up the side of the golf course and keep going up as far as you can, there is an obalisk at the top.
There are some jumps at Loughton but I've only ever rode there so I'm not sure about park etc.

High Beech is the place to start , its fairly central to all the singletrack routes around the forest.

Check out www.EppingHardCru.co.uk for more details about riding in the forest.
  • Theres also www.eppingforestepics.co.uk which starts in Woodford and works its way up to Epping and down again. Great bunch of guys (and girls) who will go at the pace of the slowest rider
