wrap an old inner tube then secure with zip ties.

Get the Lizard Skinz super jumbo chainstay protector.
I've got one on my frame and my chainstays are the same size as yours, rectangular section 40mm height x 20mm width.
The chainstay protector is approx 250mm long too so will definitely fit your frame

Get yourself some heatshrink, unbolt the chainstay from the rear triangle. Shrink heat skrink over the frame, much neater than an innertube. Done it to my kona a few months ago.

No probs Gbarnewall, when I saw the dimensions you put I thought I'd check my chainstay size and measuired it and they matched your frame although mine isn't the same bike.
The Lizard Skinz super jumbo is definitely the one for your frame, I found it quite easy to fit on mine (even less of a stretch than normal) and it stays put and does the job perfect

yep should fit and if not an old inner tube wrapped around it then secured with a cable tie is good.
