Allez & Racks

I'm just about to make the jump and get a road bike (£750 max) - but would like the option of panniers for commuting.

The Allez looks like it should take a rear rack. Anybody out there run one with a rack on?

I know the Trek 1000's can take racks - but I prefer the Spesh.

    I have used a rack on My Spesh Allez with no problems although I wouldn't overload it.
