I am currently running a rear halo spin doctor hub on my bike.

When you push it backwards the cranks turn(like normal)

But when you push the bike forwards the cranks turn, like it has become fixed.

they hub is about a month old. can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?

Thanks Blair

    SS?

if you run the chain too tight the bearings on the freebody collaps (can).

send it back. but first talk to the supplier.

take it back to the LBS and ask them to sort it.

As nick says. the chain is probably too tight, try slackening it off slightly. if that fails to make an improvement, take it back.
