How do you remove your name?

How do you remove your name from the bit at the side of your post? I've tried goping into profile and there does not apear to be an edit button or facility.
Little by little, one by one, the Penguins are stealing my sanity.

    If you mean your real name

    delete it from your profile
    then at the bottom is a submit button

    Or do like the rest of us and but something else in there

    Thanks JIBI, couldn't see the profiles button at teh top of the page, perhaps I need the easier to read text option!
