First XC

Hi, i am 14 and i really want to race, have any of you got any tips?

p.s do you know of races in the south west?

Welcome Will. You need to be researching this because there aren't many XC races nowadays, most people seem to want to ride around on bouncy DH rigs with their arses hanging over the rear wheel. Many XC events are in the Trailquest format. Have you tried posting on Singletrackworld.co.uk?

Try on Bristol Mountain Bike Club
"Crazy Cat Lady" and "Hwe" usually compete in MTB events.
You could try asking them.
