Fork Adjustments?

Postby Smudge2007 » Thu Jul 26, 2007 21:33 pm

I've just bought a bike with rebound adjust and I'm not sure how I should use it.

When and why do I use the fast or slow rebound? Will the rebound adjustment I use depend on the preload adjustment or are the two completely independent of each other?

set the preload to give the sag you require and then set the rebound for the trails you ride and your riding style.

I normally set it quickish, if you feel yourself bouncing up and down too much on the recoil then slow it down a bit, repeat until it feels fine.
