Finished work in a bad mood:
There's a road on my way home that's full of potholes (worse than most of them). In one place you have to go down the wrong side of the road, hitting them on a full suss is unpleasant. Last year I dinted a rim on them, and lost a light the next time.
I've been reporting it to the council on their system, but they've been ignoring me. I've reported it by letter and got fobbed off saying we fixed it even though they'd done nothing, next time they went out and fixed a couple of the holes but left the worst of them.
At least one other person has reported/complained about it.
I made a complaint about it last week, and received a reply today saying that they had inspected it today and there was nothing wrong and to stop wasting their time (diplomatically).
I went and had a look on the way home and my suspicions were correct that they had been out that day and (badly) resurfaced part of it.
However further down the road on a section that was originally not too bad, they've left maybe 25 or so, 1m squares of sh!tty lumpy tarmac sticking out of the road by about an inch as if it's some kind of punishment for complaining
I've really got no idea what goes on in their heads. I'm seriously considering getting some professional advice on what to do next.
Anyway, rant over, as you were.
